Over 300 Students Attend Career Guidance Seminar at Mira Road Parish

Mumbai, Mar 28:
A career guidance seminar was held at St Joseph’s Church auditorium, Mira Road, on Sunday March 27.
 
Clifton D’Silva, Ashish Pinto, and Roland Rapose were the resource persons.
 


D’Silva spoke on motivation and setting higher goals.  He advised the students to follow their passion in life by taking risks and being self-motivated. 
 
Pinto dealt with choosing careers and spoke of careers in terms of job opportunities. Rapose spoke on career guidance options.
 
The seminar was attended by more than 300 students and their parents.
 
Mira Road parish priest Fr Dominic Vaz urged the parish students to aim higher by using their talent to a greater extent and to contribute to the progress of society.
 
The seminar was sponsored by Malaika Appliances.  Its managing director Gilbert Baptist gave his own example to inspire the students on how one can rise from humble beginnings to become successful businessmen.
