Dubai: Pavithra Shetty emerges first runner up of Mrs UAE International

Dubai, Jun 30: Pavithra Shetty has emerged first runner up in the prestigious Mrs UAE International contest held on June 26 at Radisson Red, Dubai Silicon Oasis.

The event was presented by the ‘Being Muskaan’ a leading UAE based brand launched by Meena Asrani focused towards Women Empowerment, promoting confidence, leadership skills and honoring real life heroes. Meena herself has been an international model and the winner of several titles like Mrs India Universe UAE, Mrs India Universe Popular, owner of Unity Awards UAE etc. She is also the jury member of international fashion walk and also an international model groomer.

This contest which is open for all nationalities residing in the UAE is one of the biggest and most transparent pageants in the Middle east and also one of the most prestigious and elite titles. Additionally, she was also crowned as Mrs Fitness Queen as a part of the contest.

Pavithra is a working professional and also Karate instructor and successfully juggles between her professional and family life, being the mother of a 3-year-old boy. She has been living and working in the UAE for the last 9 years.

Pavithra was born and raised in Puttur and completed her education from St Victor's, and St Philomena Puttur and graduation in biotechnology from Alva’s College Moodbidri. Right from her early childhood, she demonstrated great enthusiasm and zeal for learning different arts in addition to being excellent in her academics and was actively involved in athletics, music, dance, martial arts etc. She was awarded Black Belt in Budokan Karate at the young age of 12 and since then, she has been practicing and teaching the art to several men, women and children. She has also participated in various State, National and International level Karate competitions worldwide and has won several accolades. Her recent achievement being winning the 2nd place in the Karate Budokan Cup 2022 held on 11th of June at Dubai.

With over 25 years of Martial arts experience and a 4th Dan Black belt, she now teaches Karate in Dubai, in addition to being a full-time corporate working professional.

By emerging as one of the top contestants in the pageant, Pavithra proved that success will automatically follow if you put in hard work and dedication in whatever you do - be it your family, profession, your passion or your hobby.
