Mangaluru: St Agnes PU College organizes sessions on Effective Classroom Organization, Management

Mangaluru, Jun 10: St Agnes PU College organized very informative and enjoyable sessions on ‘Effective Classroom Organization and Management’ on June 8 and ‘Discovering Inner Intelligence for Effectiveness’ on June 9. The sessions commenced with a prayer song invoking God’s blessings. The principal Sr Norine DSouza AC introduced and welcomed the resource persons Sr Dr Doris Dsouza, former principal, Patna Women’s College and Dr Stan Lobo, Trainer in Personality Growth, Bengaluru. She also cordially welcomed the new faculty for the academic year 2022-2023.

Sr Doris emphasized the necessity of being energetic in the classroom. She spoke about the principles and 4 D’s of Time Management - Do, Defer, Delegate and Delete. The group activities brought out the struggles and challenges faced by the faculty while imparting education in the post covid era.

Dr Stan began the session by relieving our minds through meditation. He stressed that self-awareness helps us to become better human beings and acceptance is the beginning of change. He also motivated us to have a positive attitude towards life.

Sr Janet Sequeira, The vice principal and all the faculty were a part of the session. Jeshma Dsouza, Dept of English and Jyothi Pinto, dept of Humanities expressed gratitude on behalf of all.
