Mangaluru, Jun 7: Derik’s Chess School Mangaluru organised the DCS Summer Grand 10 which was held on April 16 and Summer Grand Rapid Chess Tournament held on May 22.
The student of St Agnes CBSE School Nidhi N of grade VIII participated in both the competitions and has brought laurels to the school. She had scored 4 points in five rounds and was placed second under girl’s category in DSC Summer Grand 10 tournament and scored 3 points in 5 rounds and placed third position under girls’ category in Summer Grand Rapid Chess Tournament.
The management, the administrator, the principal and staff congratulated Nidhi and wished good luck toher for the future tournaments. Hearty congratulations to the parents for their constant support and encouragement.
