Dikshit Doesn't Respond to Kalmadi Charges

New Delhi, Feb 25 (IANS) Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit Friday refused to respond to comments by former Commonwealth Games spearhead Suresh Kalmadi that the CBI must summon her too on corruption charges.

"No comments," Dikshit told reporters and moved away when asked for her reaction to allegations made by Kalmadi.

Kalmadi had slammed Dikshit on a TV channel Thursday: "Why are no questions being raised against the Delhi chief minister, (who) targeted and spoke against me and said that scams were only in the OC (Organising Committee)."

Kalmadi also hit out at former sports minister M.S. Gill and former urban development minister S. Jaipal Reddy and asked the CBI to summon all three of them including Dikshit.

"All those who were involved in organizing the games must be summoned. Why just to go after the Organizing Committee?" he asked.

Allegations of largescale irregularities have dogged the 2010 Commonwealth Games organisers.
