Mumbai, May 20: Koota Mahajagattu Saligrama Mumbai celebrated the annual Gurunarasimha Jayanti at their premises at Vile Parle by traditional Narasimha Homa and Ganahoma poojas.
In the programme held under the leadership of president P Nagesh Rao, priest Narasimha Mayya Kalva performed poojas. Ashok Karanth and Indira Karanth were in charge of poojas.
Former president U N Aithal, vice president Adoor Harsha Rao, treasurer Deepak Karanth, joint secretary Ashok Karanth, joint treasurer Dinesh Rao, executive committee members Ravi Karanth, Nithyananda Rao, Ravi R Rao, Praveen Mayya, Rohini Bairy, P Narayana Rao and others recited Narasimha Sahasranama.
P Nagesh Rao welcomed. Secretary Ramesh M Rao proposed a vote of thanks. A large number of members took part. The programme concluded after serving of meals.
