Kadaba: Trespassing, vandalisation of church - Complaint filed

Kadaba, May 6: A case is filed in police station in the town about miscreants trespassing the property of the church and vandalizing the cross.

Fr Jose Verghese bin Varghese Immanuel of Peradka Assembly of God church is the complainant.

In his complaint Fr Jose says, “On the night of May 1, miscreants broke open the door of the church and entered the premises illegally. They destroyed the cross on the top of the church building intentionally and installed a saffron flag there. In addition, they kept the photo of Lord Hanuman inside the church. The miscreants also stole the electric meter and broke open the Godrej in which the records pertaining to the church were kept.

“The hooligans also stole the electrical bulbs and irrigation pump and pipes worth Rs 14,000. On the night of May 4, the miscreants cut the service wires from the electric pole that was installed on the church building and took the electrical meter box.

“The church is paying tax to the municipality for the past 30 years. So kindly take suitable action against the miscreants who entered the church illegally and damaged its property,” he stated in the complaint.

The case was registered in Kadaba police station on May 5.

    Persons steeling electrical meter box must have trained electrician in the gang... This lead can make matters simpler... Also the gang is local only and not far away crowd...
