: The annual Rathotsav of Shanishwar Mandir, Nerul, Navi Mumbai was held here on Saturday February 12. 
 
Various religious celebrations to the temple deity were performed at the leadership of Subramanya Acharya.
 
Swami Vijayanand of Bevinakoppa Anandashram, Belgaum conducted a religious discourse at the occasion. The state education minister Suresh Shetty was the chief guest.
 


Ashok Sood, Damodar Shetty, Prabhakar S Hegde, Smitha Shetty and others were felicitated during the programme.
 
Shanishwar Seva Samiti honorary chairman Santhosh D Shetty, president Ramesh M Poojary, vice president Gopal Y Shetty, honorary chief secretary V K Suvarna, honorary treasurer Karunakar S Alva, trustees Jayakar B Poojary, Prakash B Bhandary, N D Shenoy, K D Shetty, social worker Anitha Santhosh Shetty and others were present on the dais.
 
Ramdas devotional music troupe staged a singing programme, while the members of Samiti and their children staged variety cultural programmes.
 
Krishnaleele – Kamsavadhe, mythological Yakshagana play was staged.  Satya Harischandra, Tulu play by playwright K B Bhandary, directed by V K Suvarna Padubidri was staged by the troupe of Rangabhoomi – Navi Mumbai as part of cultural programme.
 
Thousands of people attended the puja celebrations and Rathotsav.
