UAE to Host International Throwball Tournament

Dubai, Feb 13 (Media Release): Throwball lovers will be getting a great chance to watch some of the best throwball teams from Asia this year. In a press release by the President of the UAE Chapter of the Throwball Federation of India, Girish Shetty said there will be teams from Thailand, Bangladesh, South Korea, China, India, Srilanka, Malayasia and Singapore playing in the Dubai tournament.  The grand tournament will carry attractive prizes and will also see UAE’s top team taking part in the tournament.

Preparations have started and a full fledged tournament committee will be formed shortly.  Players will be selected from the UAE and trained to form a strong team in the international tournament.  More details will be released to the press shortly.  Anyone interested may send their details to asianthrowball@gmail.com with all information.

The tournament will be supported with international referees and officials said Ramanna, Secretary General of the Asian Throwball Federation.
