Mangaluru Apr 29: Coastal wood movie ‘Magane Mahisha’ directed by Veerendra Shetty was released on Friday, April 29, 2022, to a massive response from the audience.

Veerendra Shetty has donned the director’s cap after 8 years in Tulu cinema. Veerendra Shetty had directed Chaalipolilu in 2014, which turned to be a blockbuster movie in the Tulu film industry. Veerendra Shetty has once again lived up to his expectations with Magane Mahisha.

Veerendra Shetty has also penned the story and dialogues, screenplay and also produced the movie 'Magane Mahisha' under Veeru Talkies. Mano Murthy has composed the music for the movie, which has songs sung by Sandesh Neermarga, Prashanth Kankanady and Rakshan Madoor.

The story line from Veerendra Shetty is riveting with comedy punches. Truly, Veerendra Shetty has understood the pulse of audience in turning this movie into a treat for the audiences. The star cast of Chaalipolilu has been retained in Magane Mahisha who have justified their role in the movie.

The story revolves around three thieves (Aravind Bolar, Bojaraj Vamanjoor and Naveen D Padil) who want to transform themselves to the mainstream and the challenges they face ahead from where the story unfolds. Devdas Kapikaad who plays a character of master has justified with his role.

Jyothi Rai who plays a prominent role in the film has amazed the audience with her natural acting, while Shivadwaj in negative character brings out his best performance. Veerendra Shetty has lived up to the expectation of the audiences after the success of his debut film Chaalipolilu.

The song with 100 celebrities of coastal wood is the highlight of the movie with stars like Arjun Kapikad and Anoop Sagar among many others. Various actresses, directors and producers have also shown their dancing skills in the song.
