Bengaluru: New look to state cabinet by April end

Bengaluru, Apr 23: The restructuring of state cabinet, the rumours of which are making rounds in Karnataka political circles has reached its final stages. It is said that at last, it will happen for sure, at the end of April.

A blueprint of comprehensive changes in the government and BJP of Karnataka with the aim of winning 150 seats in next assembly elections.

The top leaders of the party have prepared a formula to win the confidence of people by organizing the party and good governance.

Though there was a confusion whether to expand the cabinet or restructure it, the same seems to be resolved now with the decision to restructure the cabinet. It is said that in addition to filling of five vacant minister positions, resignation will be sought from five current ministers and 10 new faces will be inducted into the cabinet.

It is learnt that in order to give effective administration, certain decisions will be taken in vital departments like home, education, social welfare, revenue, PWD, irrigation, rural development and Panchayat raj, energy, health, industry and agriculture.

It is said that the senior leaders of the party have completed the preliminary discussion in this regard and only final decision is pending.
