"The two days will witness various discussions amongst progressive medical experts on the importance of Lipid and how primary prevention at a young age can actually prevent medical complications in later part of an individual’s lives. The young individuals form 74 percent of our population. If through this initiative, once can reduce the cardiovascular burden the quality and longevity of life would move upwards said Dr Sadananda R Shetty.

"LAI is also pleased to announce that it is taking steps to standardize reporting on normal and abnormal lipid values among reputed laboratories in India during this conference to avoid perennial confusion that we all face while treating dyslipidemia.

"This conference will also be attended by prominent international faculty and subsequent to this conference the international conference is scheduled in August," said LAI Advisor Dr Jamshed Dalal and organising secretary Dr Sadananda R Shetty.
