Mumbai: Multi-faceted Ramesh Shivapur Felicitated

Mumbai, Feb 5: Well-known Kannada, Tulu stage artiste, writer, director, one of the founder and active member of Veera Kesari Kalavranda, Mumbai Ramesh Shivapur was felicitated at St Jude High School, Open Ground, Jerimeri here recently.

The function was held under the leadership of social worker Vishwanath Shetty, Petri and was organized jointly by Powai Kannda Seva Sanga, Andheri Karnataka Sangha and Tulu Kannadiga Hitha Chintakara Vedike, Sakinaka.
 
Narayana Gawda, president of Okkaliga Samaja, Mumbai presided over the function.  The dignitaries felicitated Ramesh Shivapur with shawl, memento and also a cash amount of Rs 75,000.  Award winning body builder Rohit  D Shetty was also felicitation on the occasion.
 
Replying to the felicitation  Ramesh Shivapur extended his sincere thanks to all the individuals, Kannada and Tulu organizations, who supported his activities, and also said that he will continue to work in the stage even in the future with their further supports.
 
Guests of honour Kalathoor Vishwanath Shetty, J L Shetty, adv Gunakar Shetty, Ramesh Shetty Payyar, B S Kurkal, Shimumje Parari, Bhaskar Suvarma, adv R G Shetty, S N, Udupa congratulated Ramesh Shivapur and Rohit D Shetty for their achievement.  A drama ‘Kateeldappe Ullaldhi’ was also staged on the occasion.
