Kuwait: Karnataka Salafi Association Holds Annual General Meeting

Kuwait, Feb 5: The Karnataka Salafi Association successfully held its annual general meeting at the Shaibaan Deewaniya, Fahaheel here on Friday February 4.

The meeting began after Juma prayer with the Dua of Sheikh Faizulla Madani,Imam Masjid Sabah Al Salem  and was presided by Abdul Latheef Madani, president Kuwait Kerala Islahi Centre. Thereafter the outgoing general secretary Mohammed Basheer presented annual report on the Da’wa activities organized during the year 2010. It was followed by dissolving the old executive commitee and forming of the new committee for the year 2011.

New office- bearers for the year 2011 are Mohammed Azam, Bekal (president), Badru Munir, Uchila (vice-president), Mohammed Haris, Nandavara (executive secretary), Mohammed Bashir, Arkula (joint secretary), Rizwan Abdul Razak, Ullal (treasurer), Firoz Abdussamad, Jeppu (assistant treasurer), Abdul Khader, Derlakatte (Da’waa co-ordinator), Mohammed Nooruddin, Ujire (publications), Mohammed Iqbal, Bajal (audio/video visual), Anwar, Karkala (assistant audio/video visual) andMohammed Rafeek, Gangavali (information technology).

The programme concluded with the Dua.
