Mumbai: Preliminary meeting held for Brahmakalashotsava of Gopalakrishna Mandira Gokula

Mumbai, April 11: The preliminary meeting for the Brahmakalashotsava and Horekanike at the Gokula Bhavana and Gopalakrishna Mandira constructed by BSKB association and Gopalakrishna Public trust were presided over by the trust president Dr Suresh Rao Kateel at the renovated Gokula auditorium on April 9.

It was decided in the meeting to hold poojas, rituals and cultural programmes at the Sion Gokula from May 8 to May 16.

Jagatika Bantara Sangha Federation president Aikala Harish Shetty was entrusted with the leadership of the Horekanike committee. Billavara association Mumbai president, Harish G Ameen, Devadigara Sangha Mumbai former president Dharmapal U Devadiga, Bhandary Maha Mandala founder president Kadandale Suresh Bhandary, GSB Seva Mandali Mumbai’s Sathish Rama Nayak, Bhandary Seva Sangha Mumbai president advocate R M Bhandary, Fine Arts and Sangeeta Sabha honorary treasurer R Sridhar, Thonse Brahmabaidarkala Pancha Dhoomavati Seva Trust Mumbai president Nithyananda D Kotian, Tulu Koota Foundation Nalasofara, honorary president Shashidhar K Shetty, Gopalakrishna Public trust, trustee member Vidwan S N Udupa Jerimeri, BSKBA vice president Shailini A Rao, secretary A P K Pothi and women’s wing president I K Prema S Rao were on the dais.

BSKBA former president K Subbanna Rao, Dr Sadananda R Shetty Sion, Jayarama B Shetty Inna, Sudhir R L Shetty, Ashok Shetty Permude and others were present.

BSKBA vice president Vaman Holla welcomed and honoured the guests with shawls and flower bouquets. Treasurer CA Haridas Bhat rendered vote of thanks.
