KCA–Nallasopara Celebrates Annual Day

The Konkani Catholic Association (KCA) of suburban Nallasopara organized their 15th annual day celebrations at St Francis De Sales church auditorium, Nallasopara (East), recently.
 
State minority commission deputy chairman Dr Abraham Mathai was the chief guest on the occasion.



 
Vasai–Virar corporator Rajeev Patil, Fr Ivan D’Silva, Fr Nazareth D’Silva, Fr Agnello Lawrence, Fr Robert Fernandes, Fr K Swamy, Fr Rosario, and local social activist S Naidu were the guests of honour.
 
Dr Mathai, in his inaugural address, commended the social activities undertaken by the KCA of Nallasopara.
 
Rajeev Patil said that KCA, with its long serving president Harry Coutinho, has made the organization a significant one with its service to the poor and downtrodden in the neighbourhood of Nallasopara.
 
Speaking on the occasion, Harry Coutinho said that KCA is known in Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Goa for its social service in uplifting the poor and downtrodden chiefly due to the support of people living in the various localities.
 
KCA secretary Claude D’Silva, vice-president Gracy Pinto, treasurer Alwyn F D’Souza, executive committee members Lilly Quadros, Ignatius D’Souza, Mary Veigas, John Alva, Leena Lobo, Claude D’Silva, Lavina D’Souza, Rose Mary, Lucy, and Nancy were also present on the occasion.
