Mumbai: Quack Ayurvedic doctor arrested by police

Mumbai, Mar 24: Dindoshi police arrested a quack ayurvedic doctor, who was a class 12 dropout, from his clinic in Malad east.

Sukesh Gupta (34), who possessed a fake BAMS degree certificate at his clinic, was running his clinic for the past four years and catering mostly to patients from slum area of Shivshahi.

Based on the complaint raised by BMC assistant health officer Kusum Gupta, Sukesh was arrested by the police. They produced him before the court, which remanded him to judicial custody of 14 days.
