SJIM specializations

SJIM offers MBA equivalent PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) for two years. The whole programme runs over six trimesters. After the third semester, students take up industry internships for eight weeks. What is special here is, the institute offers dual specialization, namely Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management and Operations which includes Finance and Marketing, HR Management and Finance, Marketing and HR Management, Finance and Operations, Marketing and Operations. The students are placed in organizations like Amazon, Deloitte, Amul, Fidelity Investments, TCS, KPMG, Ntt Data Services, CitiBank, Adecco, Godrej & Boyce, Novo Nordisk, Genpact, HDFC Bank, Hewlett Packard, Marriott Hotels, HSBC, Randstad, Honeywell, Cap Gemini, Coffee Day, Shobha Developers, ITC Infotech, Sonata Software, Madura Coats, Ernst & Young, Morgan Stanley, Accenture and LinkedIn, the list goes on. This year 2022, the highest package so far has been 22 LPA. In fact, almost all the students get themselves placed in companies except those who either venture into their own businesses or family enterprises.

International collaboration

SJIM works in collaboration with four international institutions namely, Albers School of Business and Economics, AACSB Jesuits business school that is part of Seattle University, USA. Joint activities have included guest lectures in SJIM by Albers faculty, research collaboration, and an international business plan competition. Other collaborations include those with Fu Jen Catholic University in Taiwan and Putra Business School in Malaysia. SJIM is a member of the International Association of Jesuit Business Schools.

Reputed faculty with industry focus

Faculty members of SJIM are highly qualified, many with industry experience as well. The faculty are drawn from world-leading business schools. The senior most professor has an MBA and PhD from Wharton Business School, which is the world’s best business school. The faculty are very active in research and industry interface as well.
