Borislo was the chief guest speaking at the felicitation programme for R K Shetty held at Radhabai T Bhandary auditorium of Bunts Bhavan, Kurla (East), on Monday January 17.
The metro-based Bunts Sangh president Aikala Harish Shetty presided over the programme.
Borislo and Harish Shetty felicitated R K Shetty and Anita Shetty on the occasion.
Swami Vishveshateerta of Pejavar Mutt, in his message to the gathering, said that R K Shetty has brought great honour to India and his hometown through his achievement as a top life insurance professional in the world. “If the wealth gained by the people is distributed to society, it will fulfill the purpose of an individual for his life on earth,” said Swami Vishveshateerta.
LIC managing director D K Mehrotra, Congress leader and MLA Madhukar Chavan, Billavar Association president Jaya C Suvarna, Jaayasrikrishna Parisara Premi Samiti founder president Tonse Jayakrishna A Shetty, Bunts Sangh–Chikmagalur president Anand Kumar Shetty, and Bhandary Seva Sangh president Balakrishna P Bhandary were present on the dais.
