Devadiga Sangh Condoles Death of Veteran Leader Monappa

The condolence meet for veteran Congressman, Gandhi ideologist, and Devadiga community leader Monappa Devadiga was held at Devadiga Centre, Dadar (East), on Sunday January 16. 
 
The metro-based Devadiga Sangh president Hiriyadka Mohandas presided over the condolence meet on Sunday evening.  
 


Speaking on the occasion, Mohandas said that Monappa Devadiga was a person par excellence who led a simple life in the service of the community.  Mohandas said he was the brain behind the setting up of Devadiga Centre in the metro.
 
The Sangh’s former presidents K K Nanda, Gopal M Moily, S P Karmaran, K K Mohandas, veteran community leader P R Moily, vice-president Ravi Devadiga, P Ramesh, Monappa’s daughter Poornima Devadiga, family members Sanjeev Moily, Indira S Moily, Gopal Moily, Shanker Moily, Ramesh Ullal, Naveen Ullal, Yashwant Gujaran, Anand R Devadiga, Ramesh S Devadiga, and office-bearers of Tulu – Kannadiga organizations were present on the occasion.
 
Honorary secretary Sundar C Moily compered the programme.
