Mangaluru: Konkani single 'Tu Ye Gopanth' crosses 25K viewership

Mangaluru, Feb 23: 'Tu Ye Gopanth', a Konkani single which was released a week ago, has become a new sensation in the Konkani entertainment world. The song has already been watched by more than twenty seven thousand viewers on YouTube and entered the list of fastest moving video songs in Konkani.

'Tu Ye Gopanth' produced under the banner of JMK productions owned by Joswin Cardoza, Mavil D Sa, Kevin Shervin Mascarenhas. The trio together composed the song while known Konkani poet and young literature Elson Hirgan penned the lyrics. Ashwin D Costa rendered his melody to the song.

Budding dancer Kevin Shervin Mascarenhas from Moodbidri and known fitness trainer of Mangaluru Nikitha Sequeira featured in the song. Experienced Norbert D Souza and Santhosh Rai Mulleria directed the visual parts of the song with suspense filled script. Young talented Danel Jaison did the cinematography. Known musicians Joswin Cardoza, Elroy Pereira, Patson Pereira and Adarsh Pinto have worked on this project.

"Konkani music lovers highly appreciated our debut song for its music, singing and cinematography. Though beginners, we succeeded to give a quality filled song which is remembered among the people for a long time. In upcoming days we are planning to release the second part of the song which is the first time in Konkani," said Joswin, one of the founders of JMK productions.
