Kulal Sangh of Mira Road–Virar Holds Annual Get-together

Mumbai, Jan 1: Kulal Sangh of suburban Mira Road–Virar organized an annual get-together of its members at Swami Narayan temple auditorium, Vasai (West), recently.

Kulal Sangh Mira Road – Virar local committee executive president Kutty K Moolya urged the community to strengthen their unity by actively participating in social welfare activities.

Kulal Sangh president and Arati Printers proprietor P K Salian, in his presidential address, said that it was due to the contributions of members of the local committee that the community brethren are empowered economically and the dream of owning a building for Kulal Sangh will come true through united efforts.



Honorary chief secretary Shanker Y Moolya said that the new generation if enlightened of the community’s cultural splendour would join in the efforts of empowerment.

Sangh office-bearers Gopal Bangera, Karunakar J Moolya, D I Moolya, Mulund Jayaram Moolya, ‘Amulya’ journal sub-editor Narayan Netrakere, and Raghu B Moolya were present on the dais.

Treasurer Karunakar Salian, women’s wing president Rajeshwari Netrakere, Satish Bangera, Navi Mumbai local sub-committee president Shekar Moolya, Pune – Karzat local committee president Krishna Moolya, Laxman C Moolya, Mira – Virar local committee office- bearers Keshav K Moolya, Krishna C H, Sadanand Kumar, Sundar Moolya, Umanath Moolya, Mira Road–Virar local committee women’s wing president Chitra J Moolya, and honorary secretary Shubha V Bangera were also present on the occasion.

The community’s veteran social activist Chandu Moolya, lunch donor Ganesh Kumar Vasai, Umesh Bangera Mira Road, Sadanand Kulal Nallasopara, Keshav Banjan, and their wives were felicitated during the programme.

Umanath Moolya presented the annual report and chartered accountant Krishna C H presented annual accounts. Shubha A Bangera compered the programme.

A large number of people from the Kulal community from Mira Road, Bhayandar, Naigaon, Vasai, Nallasopara, and Virar localities attended the annual get-together.

The members of the Art of Living Foundation of Vasai staged a cultural programme.
