Dubai to Host International Print Industry Expo


Dubai, Dec 31 (IANS/WAM) Dubai will host an international print industry expo Jan 24-26 that will see participants from India, Gulf countries, Europe and the US, it was announced Thursday.

The Sign and Graphic Imaging (SGI) expo 2011 will be held at the Airport Expo Dubai.

It will showcase the latest products and emerging technologies from the advertising, architectural hardware, banners and posters and digital imaging industries.

Iran, Saudi Arabia and Egypt are the three markets that show the most promise in the region, said Shihab Zubair, business development manager in Epson Middle East.

"Epson sees a great opportunity in the Middle East especially with our new solutions like our value added outdoor signage options and package proofing using our new white ink solution," Zubair said.

SGI Middle East is the largest and longest running trade show of its kind in the region. Now in its 14th year, the show attracts exhibitors and visitors from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, Egypt, Lebanon, Iran, Iraq, India, Pakistan, East Africa, Europe and the US.
