Sharjah: Hidayah Foundation Holds Get-together for a Noble Cause

Sharjah, Dec 26: A get-together for a divine cause was organized by the Hidayah Foundation, UAE unit at a Desert in Al-Dhaid here on Friday December 24.


Speaking on the occasion, Saif, secratary, Hidaya Foundation, UAE, stressed the need of the hour, which was to support the women who are living below poverty line and also their children who are deprived of their childhood needs.

These women include those who are abandoned by their husbands, widows, and also unmarried girls, who have crossed their normal age of marriage. “How can we lead a luxurious life, when we have our sisters and their children who are living next to our locality suffering from poverty, epidemic diseases and problems which are beyond our imagination”. 

Hidaya Foundation UAE will focus more on providing Health Insurance facility for the needy and conduct health awareness programmes across south canara , he added.

Speaking on the occasion Saif explained the activities of Hidayah foundation, in Dakshina Kannada, with a presentation, and how Hidayah Foundation, with the help of its dedicated team members has been in the forefront in helping the needy.
Other events and games were organized as a part of get together. Feedbacks were collected from the audience. There was an overwhelming response from the audience as they went on supporting the cause through their valuable ideas and funds.

The programme started with the recitation of Holy Quran by Ibrahim. Welcome speech was delivered by Zahir, president of Hidayah Foundation UAE, and vote of thanks were proposed by Saif.
Over 150 members of Dakshina Kannada district participated in the event.

    Alhamdulillah , am thankful to Almighty Allah for being part of d picnic to support charity..its really very godo idea and good gathering.
    No one in the group think that may they waste the time or money ,, all people enjoyed with high and the organsiers also happy for the support for fund rising to charity is done without a single no.
    I really enjoyed ful picnic and the dhaid place was also good ion for gathering..
    we start at 4 p m after asar namaz and gathered there and upto 9 p.m. we wnjoyed competitions and our neigbours all that we missed being here in U.A.E.
    we have to work put for soeciety who are really miserable and in very bad conditions...
    I WANT TO CONNECT MORE PEOPLE FOR HIDAYA TO SUPPORT IT.
    by that hey can work easily for our future .....
    I thank Almighty Allah for it.

    It was a very good occasion to witness.Im glad I was a part of it.
    I request all sisters from my society to join this cause and be a part of it because whatever u deposit here ,u ll get double rewards from Almighty.
    I see some people attend parties,which deals just with worldy affairs inspite of entrance fee etc where u are nt profitted ,but when the party arranged to serve the poor,u think 100 times n go miles far away giving uses.Think what if we were in such pathetic condition.
    We as a muslim follow first 3 pillars of Islam very sicerely(majority).BUT WHEN IT COMES TO ZAKAAT(CHARITY)ITS NOT BOTHERING US.ESPECIALLY MUSLIM WOMAN OF MANGALORE HAS HIGHEST WEALTH GIFTED BY HER PARENTS DURING TIME OF MARRIAGE(MAXIMUM 100SOVERIEGNS),BUT AFTER A YEAR SHE IS SUPPOSED "COMPULSORILY"TO GIVE IN CHARITY(2.5% of it)EVEN SOME WOMAN DO,BUT NOT THEMSELVES,THEIR HUSBANDS DO.THIS ACT OF THEIRS IS ACTUALLY SIMILAR AS TO TELLING UR HUBBYS TO OBSERVE UR PENDING FASTINGS OR PERFORM UR NAMAZ "ON THIS EARTH EVERY FINANCIALLY CAPABLE SOUL SHOULD GIVE ZAKAAT ,U CANT ASK UR FATHERS,BROTHERS OR HUSBANDS HELP FOR IT UNLESS THEY USE UR GOLD FOR THEIR BUSINESS"

    What a touching words and my heart melted. Its true that a small percentage of our income is kept aside for helping these less fortunate people, this planet would have become heaven for all of us. The need of hour is to say no to dowry, help the unwed girls who have crossed the normal marriage age, help the widow and those abandoned by their husbands. With the above cause hidaya foundation must spread its wings in each taluk and start the work at grass root level. I am eager to be a member of this foundation and ready to serve the less fortunate. May God bless you all. One piece of advice that dont be in a show business and hold gatherings for eating and merry making. Every penny saved must go to the charity and try to save a big amount for the needy. May Allah bless you all in good work and give toufiq to be merciful to the needy. aameen
