Mangaluru: 28-year-old Lloyd D'Souza loses life trying to save drowning woman

Mangaluru, Jan 29: A young man, who tried to rescue a lady who was facing the danger of drowning in the sea, lost his life. The lady whose life he saved is in serious condition.

This incident happened at Someshwar beach on the Friday January 28 evening.

Lloyd D'Souza (28) from Uliya in Munnur village was the man who died when trying to rescue a lady facing peril. Ashitha Ferrao (22) from Paneeru, Kotekar, who survived the scare, stands admitted into a private hospital at Deralakatte.

A case in this respect was registered in Ullal police station.
