Mumbai: Fire mishap at furniture showroom at Thane

Mumbai, Jan 28: A furniture showroom in Thane district caught fire on the late night of Thursday.

At around 1.40 am of Friday, the fire was noticed at Chamunda complex near Kasheli Creek on Old Bhiwandi Road.

The fire also engulfed three more godowns adjacent to it. Fire service personnel from Balkum fire brigade of Thane rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control.

The cause of the fire is not yet known. Further investigation is on.
