Mangaluru: Ladyhill English Higher Primary School celebrates 73rd Republic Day

Mangaluru, Jan 27: Republic Day was celebrated with pride and patriotism at Ladyhill Institutions, Urwa, on January 26. Sr Rosilde AC, correspondent of the Ladyhill Institutions, chief guest Clementine, headmistresses of the other Apostolic Schools on campus, staff and students gathered with great enthusiasm to celebrate the countrys 73rd Republic Day.

The flag was hoisted followed by the singing of the national anthem. The programme continued with a prayer service, patriotic songs, and an explanation of the significance of the day.

Everyone felt a sense of love and brotherhood after hearing the heartfelt renditions of patriotic songs by the students.

Chief guest Clementine of Ladyhill Victoria High School inspired the students with her motivational words and asked the students to abide by the constitution of their motherland and fulfil all their duties as responsible citizens.

Finally, the institution's guides, along with their guide captains, conducted a sanitization and cleaning campaign of the bus stops and public areas outside the school campus.
