Kuwait, Dec 19: Tulu Koota Kuwait successfully held its annual general meeting at the Indian Community School auditorium, Salmiya here on Friday December 17.
The meeting began at 5:00 pm with lighting of the lamp by outgoing committee members. Members and children presented a spectacular variety entertainment programme.
Thereafter the general secretary Sathya Narayan presented annual report on the activities organized during the year 2010, and the annual financial report was presented by the treasurer of Tulukoota. This as followed by awarding memento to some of the participants of tuluparba cultural programme. All the members who greatly contributed to the success of Tulu Parba 2010 were also felicitated on the occasion
Sachidananda, the returning officer, successfully conducted the election of the new management committee for the year 2010. All the management committee candidates have been elected unanimously

President Swarna Shetty in her speech expressed her thanks to the outgoing committee members for
making Tulukoota Kuwait as successful and strong organization as it is today. She welcomed the newly elected members of the management committee and assured that they aimed to continue the good work in networking, enriching and bonding the rich culture and people of Tulunadu.

Christmas was in the air as the entry of Santa mesmerized the children and they enjoyed dancing to Christmas carols. The meeting was concluded with the singing of national anthem and delicious dinner served by Oriental Restaurant.
