Mangaluru: 73rd Republic Day celebrated at St Lawrence English Medium School

Mangaluru, Jan 26: The 73rd Republic Day of India was celebrated at St Lawrence English Medium School with the hoisting of the national flag.

The chief guest of the programme, Sangeetha R Nayak, corporator of Pachanady 19th ward, hoisted the tricolour and called upon everyone to read and respect the constitution of India.

President of the programme Fr Andrew Leo D'Souza addressed the gathering and enumerated the beauty and richness of Indian constitution and called everyone to become responsible citizens of the nation.

Fr Rupesh Tauro, assistant parish priest of Bondel Church, Fr Peter Gonsalves, principal of St Lawrence English Medium School, Helen, headmistress of St Lawrence Kannada Medium School were present.

The student representatives of both the schools organised the entire programme.
