Mangaluru: Karnataka Bank launches NRI mobile banking facility

Mangaluru, Jan 25: The Karnataka Bank Limited has launched a Mobile Banking facility for its NRI customers through its existing mobile banking application ‘KBL MobilePlus app’. With this facility, NRI customers can access a whole range of banking facilities at their fingertips like fund transfer, bill payments, recharge, credit card payments, deposit opening & closing, account statement, passbook and many more.

Further, the bank has also incorporated an added feature of the Kannada language user interface in its mobile banking app to cater to the preferences of customers who wish to operate in regional language.


Customers can download KBL MobilePlus app from Google Play store or Apple AppStore to access the NRI mobile banking.

Speaking on the occasion, Mahabaleshwara M S, managing director & CEO, Karnataka Bank said, “We are extremely pleased to roll out NRI Mobile Banking facility and an added Kannada Language user interface in the Bank’s mobile banking application KBL MobilePlus. All our services are available to our esteemed customers through digital mode and going forward KBL MobilePlus app will be enabled in the Hindi and other regional languages also in addition to the existing English and Kannada languages.”

Gokuldas Pai, chief business officer, general managers and other executives/ officers of the bank were present on the occasion.
