Chinnara Bimba Cultural Fest Commences in Metro on Dec 17

The metro based Chinnara Bimba, children’s cultural troupe, promoted by Kala Jagattu which aims to popularize cultural hierarchy of undivided Dakshina Kannada (DK) district and Karnataka culture in the metro since 7 years, has organized cultural fest, scheduled to be held at Radhabai T Bhandary auditorium of Bunts Bhavan, Kurla (East), here from Friday December 17 to Sunday December 19.
 
Chinnara Bimba was launched by Kala Jagattu, a drama troupe to mark its silver jubilee celebrations.
 
Ambika Devi temple chief priest Pernankila Haridas Bhat will inaugurate the fest and talent contest.

MLA Krishna Hegde, Shangri – La Resort and Water Park managing director Harish Shetty, Bunts Sangh social welfare and education committee president Karnire Vishwanath Shetty will be the chief guest on the occasion.
 
The competitions on elocution, devotional singing, folk songs, one-act play, group singing, fancy dress competition, Bhajans and folk dances will be held after the inauguration.
 
The prize distribution ceremony will be held on Friday at 6.00 pm. Bunts Sangh president Aikala Harish Shetty will preside.
 
Manipal Media Network chief executive officer Vinod Kumar, entrepreneur Suresh Shetty Bellary, Deserve Exim Private Limited managing director Santosh Sarda, world renowned drummer Shivamani, and Bollywood celebrity music director Bappi Lahri will be the guests of honour.
 
A concert by drummer Shivamani will be held on the occasion.
 


Bombay Bunts Association president Jayant Shetty will inaugurate the second day’s programme.
 
Ramakrishna Group of Hotels managing director Subbayya Shetty, Kamat Our Times Ice Cream Private Limited managing director R N Kamat, Naveen Printers proprietor Narayan Shetty and Bunts Sangh women wing president Asha M Hegde will be the chief guests.
 
Chandrashekar Palettady, the editor of Karnataka Malla will preside over the prize distribution ceremony.
 
Karnataka’s former minister and Coastal Development Authority chairman B Nagaraj Shetty will be the chief guest.
 
Mogaveer Co-operative Bank chairman Kirtiraj Salian, well known psychiatrist Dr Harish Shetty, Ajanta Caterers proprietor Jayaram Shetty, Bunts Sangh trustee Ravindra M Arasa, Sandalwood music director Gurukiran will be the guests of honour.
 
Karnataka Rajyotsav Award recipient life insurance professional R K Shetty, Manohar Kori and Eshwar Bidari will be felicitated during the programme.
 
Swami Vidyaprasannateertha of Subrahmanya Kshetra, Kukke will inaugurate the grand finale of Cultural Fest at 1.15 pm on Sunday December 19.
 
Bunts Sangh vice- president chartered accountant Shankar B Shetty, Bunts Sangh trustee Padmanabha Payyade and Sai Palace Group of Hotels managing director Ravi Shetty will be the guests of honour.
 
MRG Group managing director Prakash Shetty will preside over the programme.
 
Karnataka’s former minister Prakash Hegde will be the chief guest.
 
Charisma Builders managing director Sudhir Shetty, chartered accountant N B Shetty, C R India Private Limited managing director Jayaram N Shetty, Mulund Bunts president Nagriguttu Vivek Shetty, Sandalwood celebrity actor Pooja Gandhi and others will be the guests of honour on the occasion.
