Mangaluru, Jan 15: Weekend curfew enforced in the light of the increasing spread of coronavirus infection in the district is in force from Friday night to Monday morning.

Policemen have been posted at strategic points to make sure that people do not venture outside unnecessarily. They have set up barricades and making enquiries about the purpose from the vehicle users. The district administration has allowed pre-determined functions to be held on a moderate scale and permitted shops dealing in essentials, milk and medicines to remain open. Home delivery personnel too are allowed to operate.

The fact that the police checking is on at different points has come as a dampener to the spirits of those who like to roam around without purpose. As a result, only vehicles which fall within the guidelines of the district administration are moving about and most of the roads are wearing a deserted look.

All the companies /offices, factories are allowed to open... so people will come out for work... If Govt. thinks Lockdown is only solution for COVID then they should implement complete lockdown... Close all the Companies, factories, industries, schools/colleges movement of trains, flights, buses for 15 days.. (except Emergency services).. this type of 'Naam ke Vaste' lockdown is no use.

Pictures of Mangalore ? or looks like evil communist china model? that we are following ? Basically, Elite and evil Communist chinese want their ideological 'STATE CONTROL' . Artificially created food control or famine due these lockdowns, curfews, stricter Tax Laws to make people poorer using a medical tyranny or china virus. Why? To ensue general chaos and riots so their vast 200 million military can come inside or invade and put their puppet dictators. So looks like, their evil plan with deadly vaccines is to eliminate much of military, police force, doctors to create health and general chaos and in the name of helping or supporting medical aid or controlling chaos bring their vast military in various nations. ...... Already circling smaller neighbour nations communist chinese have significant clout or loans or military installations. This our IAS officers, political leaders and health authorities have failed to understand or they are satisfied with BigPharma commission in the name of controlling so called 'cold and flu' pandemic is the another question ? Evil Communist Chinese final goal seems, controlling whole world and bring their new world order.

Schools should be closed in Mangalore also as cases have shot up above 600. A lot of children have fallen sick in private schools but nobody is bothered to test for COVID infections there. The concerned department should wake up and close schools for now be before more children and their families get infected.

Mr Kujuma even I have never paid any bribe to a govt worker. If you be a responsible citizen and follow the rules there won't a situation where there is a need for you to pay fines or "bribes". Instead of pointing fingers let's change ourselves..
