Mumbai: Godown gutted in fire at Mustafa Bazar of Byculla

Mumbai, Jan 10: A godown that is used to stock wood was gutted in fire near Mustafa Bazar in Byculla on the morning of Monday.

Eight fire brigades rushed to the spot to control the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby shops.

Giving details of the mishap, KD Gahadigaonkar, divisional fire officer said that the cause of the fire is not known but it was brought under control after operation for more than two hours.

As of now no casualties are reported.
