Mumbai: Goregaon Karnataka Sangha elects new executive committee members

Mumbai, Jan 3: Goregaon Karnataka Sangha elected ten members for their executive committee and the president for the year 2021-22 in the annual general body meeting held at their Barkur Rukmini Shetty memorial auditorium, Malad west on Sunday evening, Jan 2. The meeting was chaired by the president Narayana R Mendon.

Nithyananda D Kotian who was elected president has been the active member of Goregaon Karnataka Sangha from 1980 to 1991, chief secretary for two terms, honorary treasurer for five terms and member of silver jubilee celebrations committee.

Kotian is the current president of Brahmashree Baidarkala Pancha Doomavathi Garadi, Kalianpur, Udupi. He is the former president of Billavara Association, Mumbai, vice president of Kannada Sangha, Santa Cruz and the general manager of Bharath cooperative bank Mumbai Limited. He hails from Gujjarabettu, Kemmannu, Udupi and resides with his family at Goregaon.

Thonse Sri Brahma Baidarkala Pancha Doomavati Garodi Seva Trust, Mumbai honorary chief secretary Sanjiva Poojary Thonse, Honorary chief treasurer Raviraj Kalianpur, Kannada Sangha Santa Cruz president Sujatha S Shetty, their office bearers and members have congratulated Nithyananda D Kotian.
