Mangaluru: GR Medical College gets permission from NMC to begin MBBS course

Mangaluru, Jan 1: GR Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre here at Neermarga, part of internationally reputed Karavali Group of Colleges sponsored and managed by G R Education Trust®, with the chairmanship of Educationist Ganesh Rao S got permission from Medical Assessment and Rating Board (MARB) of National Medical Commission (NMC) to start MBBS course from this academic year 2021-22.

G R Medical College has got Medical Assessment and Rating Board (MARB) of National Medical Commission (NMC) permission for 150 student’s intake to start MBBS course from the academic year 2021-22. College has developed all the facilities for MBBS course as per National Medical Commission (NMC) and Rajiv Gandhi University norms. The college has modern well-equipped hospital with 330 general beds capacity and 30 beds for emergency medicine including the Green Category, Yellow Category and Red Category and 60 Ventilator beds in the ICU, ICCU, NICU, PICU and Obstetric HDU/ICU. Other than this Pre-Operative beds, Post-Operative beds, Labour beds, Eclampsia and Septic beds with total 418 beds in the hospital. College has 24 hours Casualty, Blood bank, Central Lab, Pharmacy, Radiology Department, Ambulance service, Anatomy Lab, Physiology Lab and Biochemistry Lab, separate boys and girls hostel in the campus.
