Mangaluru: Milagres College organizes Christmas celebration

Mangaluru, Dec 20: Christmas celebration in Milagres College, Mangaluru was held on December 18, 2021 in the college auditorium.

The chief guest for the celebration was Naveen D’Souza, corporator of Mangaluru and guest of honour was Gopalkrishna Delampady, Rtd health inspector and Yoga Guru.

PrincipalFr Michael Santhumayor welcomed the gathering. The college choir led the gathering into prayer. The eve of Christmas was signified by a Tableau focused on the birth of Jesus Christ and his message to the Universe. Carol singing and Santa Claus added entertainment to the celebration.

The chief guest in his message appreciated the service of Milagres College towards its contribution to education in society. He spoke about how necessary it is to follow the message given by Lord Christ and serve mankind.

The guest of honour spoke about religious harmony and respect for each other in society which is the need of the hour. He wished everybody a happy feast and new year.

On the occasion the chief guest and the guest of honour were felicitated by the principal of the College for the tremendous service rendered by these stalwarts.

Faculty and programme coordinator John Fernandes and president of student council Florida Jenifer Almeda were present on dais. The student representative Karen Bridgette compered the programme.
