Mangaluru: Lourdes Central School organizes career guidance session

Mangaluru, Dec 18: A career guidance session was organized for the students and parents of class 10 on December 16, 2021 at Bejai church hall.

The session began by invoking God’s blessings by the school choir. Stuti Rao of class 10A welcomed the gathering and introduced the guest speakers Vipin Narayanan and Kishan to the audience.

Principal Fr Robert Dsouza, adviced the students to believe in themselves and follow their dreams. He also urged the students to have a high dream, by quoting Michael Angelo and asked them to work hard to achieve their aim.

Vipin Narayan insisted that students should not waste time in planning but executes their plan right away. He also gave the bird’s eye view on all the career options available in different fields of science, commerce and arts.

Kishan provided information on the various competitive exams conducted by the government and told how to prepare for it. Students interacted with the resource persons and clarified their doubts.

Programme ended with the vote of thanks proposed by Viva Pinto of class 10A.
