Mangaluru: Jesnia Correa of MCCS bags gold medal in national roller skating championship

Mangaluru, Dec 17: Jesnia Correa, daughter of Jerome and Preetha Correa, studying at Mount Carmel Central School (MCCS) in Class V, participated in the 59th National Roller Skating Championship from December 11 to 22 at G R International School, New Delhi, conducted by Roller Skating Federation of India and won gold medal. More than 3,500 skaters are participating in the event representing different states.

Prior to this, Jesnia won two gold medals and one silver medal in the state level competition held at Bengaluru from November 25 to 27 by Karnataka Roller Skating Association and was selected for National level skating Championship.

She is a national level gold medal winner in skating in the year 2019 too.

She is coached at Mangalore Roller Skating Club under the guidance of Mahesh Kumar and Asian medalist Sharanya Mahesh.

The school management, principal, staff and students congratulated Jesnia for her stupendous performance at the national level and wished her good luck in the future events.
