Some Adarsh Society Papers Missing, Police Complaint Filed


Mumbai, Nov 27 (IANS) Some documents relating to the Adarsh Cooperative Housing Society scam have reportedly gone missing from the society office files, according to a complaint with the Mumbai police.

A complaint has been lodged Saturday by a state government officer, Gurudutt Vajpeyi, with the Marine Drive police station.

According to preliminary information, certain documents dated between August 2009 and November 2010 are said to be missing from the Adarsh Community Housing Society files, which was noticed when these were submitted to the Central Bureau of Investigation.

The papers, bearing signatures of important officials, pertain to the decisions taken in the stages before the project was cleared by the government.

    Nothing new, even the Court case file in many states could go missing if the right price tag is paid.
