Mangaluru: C M Manishka of St Agnes CBSE School secures distinction in Bharatanatyam exam

Mangaluru, Dec 8: Bharatanatyam is a major form of Indian classical dance that originated in the modern-day region of Tamil Nadu. It has flourished in the temples and courts of southern India since ancient times. It is one of eight widely recognized Indian classical dance forms and it expresses South Indian religious themes and spiritual ideas.

The student C M Manishka of grade VIIC of St Agnes CBSE School Mangaluru had attended the Bharatanatyam Junior Grade Examination conducted by the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board and has secured distinction in the examination. The subjects included Shastra, Drushyagnana, Prayoga-1, Prayoga-2 has secured 368 scores out of total 400 scores.

The management, the administrator, principal and the staff congratulates the winner and wishes many more success. Hearty congratulations to the parents for their constant support and encouragement.
