Beltangady: Inauguration of NSS activities held at Sacred Heart College

Beltangady, Dec 6: NSS unit of Sacred Heart College Madanthyar inaugurated the activities for academic year 2021-22 on December 4. Correspondent of Sacred Heart Institution Madanthyar Fr Basil Vas was the inaugurator of this programme.

The programme initially began with an NSS theme song by the volunteers.

The correspondent inaugurated the activities by lighting the lamp. In his presidential remark, on behalf of the management, correspondent Fr Basil Vas thanked for service provided by NSS volunteers for cleaning campus, gardening the plant and other NSS activities. He also mentioned that 'service is a devotion which will lead to heavenly path'. He further highlighted the importance of service to society which would provide satisfaction at the end.

NSS programme officer of unit I Prashant M gave the introductory remark and welcomed the gathering. Unit leader Santosh of II BCom proposed the vote of thanks.

NSS programme officer of unit II Robin Sera and NSS unit leaders were present on the dais. Assistant programme officer Arun and Seema Kausar, senior NSS volunteers were also present in the programme. Renisha Lobo of II BCom compered the programme.
