Asian Games Tennis: Sania Loses in Women's Singles Semis, Gets Bronze


Guangzhou, Nov 21 (IANS) India's Sania Mirza had to content with a bronze after her 7-6(7), 3-6, 4-6 semifinal loss to third seeded Uzbek Akgul Amanmuradova in the women's singles at the Asian Games tennis here Sunday.

Sania, ranked 166th, lost to Amanmuradova after a marathon two hour and 49 minutes clash.
