Mumbai: Man murders sister, surrenders to police due to foul smell

Mumbai, Dec 4: A man killed his sister and hid the body in the house for two days. He surrendered himself to the police only after a foul smell started emanating from the corpse. This incident is reported from Ulhasnagar of Thane district.

Aruna was killed by Yogesh Maitmale (45), over an argument. Yogesh was released on bail recently after being in prison for six years on the accusation of the murder of his wife.

In a fit of rage Yogesh killed Aruna and then kept the body inside the house. He surrendered to the police and confessed to the crime after the corpse started giving bad odour in the house and neighbouring area.

The police are suspecting that accused Yogesh is psychologically disturbed.
