Belthangady: Road Safety, Cyber crime awareness programme observed by Carmel College

Mangaluru, Dec 3: The Youth Red cross unit and NSS unit of Carmel College in association with Bantwal Town police station had organized road safety and awareness programme in the college auditorium. Avinash and Rajesh were the resource persons. Avinash sub inspector of Bantwal Town police station enlightend the students about cyber law, usage of social media and mobile phones, POSCO act. He also spoke about importance of competitive exams. Rajesh Bantwal Traffic police station explained about measures to be taken regarding road safety and the evils of violation of safety rules.

The principal Dr Sr Latha AC in her presidential address stressed the need of road safety and protection of our lives.

Vice-principal and Red cross co-ordinator Vinitha Veigas, NSS officer Madhura K, assistant sub-inspector of Bantwal Town police station Jinnappa were present.
