Mumbai: Navi Mumbai Kannada Sangha celebrates Nadahabba

Mumbai, Dec 1: Navi Mumbai Kannada sangha celebrated Nadahabba at late M B Kukyan auditorium, Vashi, Navi Mumbai on November 30. NIA advocate Kadandale Parari Prakash L Shetty, the Chief Guest inaugurated the programme.

Gopal Y Shetty chaired the programme. Shama N Shetty was the Guest of honour. Dr G P Kusuma, Nalina Prasad and Kala Bhagawath were the special invitees. Honorary president of the sangha, B H Katti honoured the representatives of local organizations, presidents and guests.

Kannada Kala Kendra Mumbai performed a skit titled ‘Ambikatanadatta Ranga Roopaka’ directed by S Daya. Members of the sangha and children presented variety programme. The women’s wing sang songs in memory of late Puneet Raj Kumar and performed ‘Atma Bandhu’ comedy skit.

Vice president of the sangha, T R Madhusoodan, Jayaram Shetty and Jyothi Prasad were on the dais. Programme convener Raghu Moolya gave an introduction. Honorary chief secretary Jagadish D Rai read the list of felicities. Joint secretary Balakrishna Adyaypadi compered the programme.
