Mangaluru: Folk Dance Competition held at Ladyhill English Higher Primary School

Media Release

Mangaluru, Nov 29: Dance is a form of communication between the body and the soul, used to express what words cannot express.

So, in order to bring out the hidden talents of our students, a Folk dance competition for students in lower primary was held. Children dressed in bright folk costumes swayed to the beats of folk music. Students demonstrated their vibrant dancing abilities with their vivacious dance moves.

It was a joy to watch the children discover India’s rich cultural heritage through folk dances.

The judge’s decision resulted in the winners receiving first, second and third place.
