Udupi, Nov 26: "Congress leader and former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru had praised the RSS. He had called RSS a patriotic organization," said minister Kota Srinivas Poojary.

Speaking to media persons in reply to the comments of Dhruvnarayan, KPCC working secretary, Kota said, "Nehru, considering the patriotism of the RSS, had permitted them to participate in the parade. Are those Congress leaders commenting about RSS above Nehru?

"We have a challenge to alienate discrimination from our society. Every household will be prepared to alienate discrimination. As the election code of conduct is in force, our department has not held any programme in this regard. But immediately after the completion of elections, a government based programme will be held in this regard. We will include Pejawar seer also in the programme," he said.

Replying to the Congress’ decision to boycott Constitution Day, Kota said, "Is the Congress expecting to get praised? Their only agenda is to get humiliated more and more. We respect Dr B R Ambedkar. BJP has given election tickets based on concept of social justice.”
