Offcourse it's anti Muslim to ban. A bit of common sense could tell you that robbery doesn't happen just because a person's wearing a burqa.

I am dam sure that this theft was done by professions looters. At the same time there is a chance of having hands of some goonda organisation who are trying to defame muslims. I am 99 percent sure that those women were not muslims. Police should investigate the issue as we want to know about the real decoits and their intention.

Burkha cladded 2 face scarf (naqab) woman. Burkha would not hide the identities but only face scarf hide the identities. Many comments on Burkha instead of face scarf, only thieves misusing face scarf regardless of religion, even many Muslim women wearing burkha without face scarf; so there is nothing wrong in burkha.

Now for all bhakths who wil actively comment on how burkha is being used for criminal purpose, plz google videos on youtube of how women steal things using all forms of clothes. Infact, one famous video is of how a woman steals an entire laptop box within her saree. So, requesting not to bring up religious attire into this. A robber is a robber irrespective of her religion and must be dealt with law.

Mbeary, Dxb... We agree and oppose all kind of stealing. The problem with Burqah is difficulty in detecting as face is covered. Face covered thieves will have their morale very high as chances of getting caught is very low...

Dear Kumar, The country (Qatar) where you earn money for you and your family is a islamic country and all the muslim women in qatar wear burkhas to cover their body. Did you ever heard of such stealing news in Qatar? Might be no. So dont think that everyone is not same. Some people make wrong use of it. Even during the month of ramadan poor hindu women wear burkha pretending to be a muslim and ask money from muslims. So some use burkha for the good and some for bad.

Althaf, Udupi/Kaup... I agree to the last sentence of your comment. But, for the first part, my request to you is don't compare Burqah clad original Muslims of Qatar and those converted clan in India. By wearing the feather of peacock, a crow can not become beautiful. Let us stop imitating like others.
