Mangaluru: St Agnes CBSE School Bendur congratulates winners in athletic meet

Mangaluru, Nov 23: The Karnataka Athletic Association and DK Athletic Association jointly organised 'SAHYADRI DK ATHLETIC MEET' on Saturday November 20, 2021 at Mangala Stadium Mangaluru for the age group between 12, 14 and 16 for both boys and girls. The meet was for the selection to represent District Team to the National Inter Districts Junior Athletic Meet (NIDJAM).
The events were 100mts, 300mts, 400mts, 600mts and 1000mts track events, standing board jump, long jump, High Jump, Shot Put, Discuss throw, Javelin throw, 80mts hurdles, Cricket Ball throw.

The students of St Agnes CBSE school participated in the sports meet and have brought laurels to the school. A total of 12 students participated in various events. Nripali S Rao of grade X secured third place in High Jump under 16 category and Prachi Shetty of grade VIII secured 2nd place in High jump under 14 categories.

The management, the administrator, principal and the staff congratulated the winners and all participants and wished them good luck. Hearty congratulations to the PE trainers for their constant support and encouragement.
