Mangaluru: Ladyhill Victoria Composite P U College celebrates foundation day

Mangaluru, Nov 20: In remembrance of the foundress Venerable Mother Veronica the foundation Day of the Apostolic Carmel was celebrated at Ladyhill Victoria Composite P U College on November 19.

The day was initiated with a prayer, the dance troop welcomed the audience. The significance of the day was highlighted and a quiz was conducted towards the end. The life of Mother Veronica and the stalwarts who were responsible in starting a congregation and education in India was enacted through a dance drama.

The winners of the poster competition on Mother Veronica and her thoughts were honoured with a memento. The principal Sr Grace Miranda A C gave her message on this occasion to follow the virtues of Mother Veronica and stressed that her life of sacrifice, is the fruit of Apostolic Carmel congregation. The success of the events organised was the hard work and the joint effort of Sr Pushpa Pinto A C the animator of the Carmel Blossoms.

The programme was compered by Flara and Melissa. Alma welcomed the gathering and Thanvi proposed the vote of thanks. The programme concluded with Carmel Blossom anthem.
